About Orchard Physical Therapy

What is Orchard Physical Therapy all about?

Injuries are an unfortunate part of of the human experience.

My goal is to create an environment of educated independence where you feel empowered to take your healing into your own hands and to give you the tools you need to be your own first line of defense in managing the flare-up of symptoms that will inevitably occur.

Physical therapy is a team effort. I’m here to act as a guide, to help you navigate the healing process, and to support you in building a more resilient body so that you can return to the activities you love and, ultimately, do all of life easier.

My vision is to provide a nonjudgemental and open environment to meet you where you are, explore what brought you to your appointment, and learn how I can best support you in achieving your goals.

All of your treatments are:

  • One-on-one

  • Provided in a private treatment and gym space

  • Highly individualized to meet your specific needs and may include hands on treatment, mobility, strengthening, coaching, or a combination of everything

*Physical therapy appointments, in-person or virtual, are available for Oregon residents

What’s behind the name?

Orchard Physical Therapy is located in the Orchard District in Bend, Oregon.

When deciding on a name, I resonated with the picture an orchard evoked:

  • Rooting: all the hard, unseen, foundational work that is necessary for progress to happen.

  • Resilience: the deeper and more intricate the root system, the stronger and more resilient we become.

  • Growth/transition: just as nature experiences year-to-year seasons of new growth, budding, and production, we, as humans, experience similar transitions based on our season in life.

  • Community: an orchard is a group or community of trees. Together, we create the community through which growth and healing takes place.

Location

In Bend’s Orchard District at the base of Pilot Butte.

The most basic and powerful way to connect with another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention…
