Orthopedic Physical Therapy

You are more than your injury.

You are a whole person and your story, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals all matter to me.

Injuries and flare-ups are an inevitable and unfortunate part of being human, but they don’t have to stop you from doing what you love.

Whether it’s running, biking, gardening, playing with your kiddos, or simply moving in a way that brings you joy, we’ll find ways to keep you active while you heal.

You won’t hear me say, “just stop doing that.” Instead, we’ll explore how to move in a way that supports your body’s recovery.

My approach to orthopedic physical therapy is holistic, integrating mind-body awareness, movement re-education, pain science, and nervous system- and trauma-informed care to meet you and your body where you are.

At its heart, my work is about creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to listen to your body, to trust in your body’s resilience and capacity to heal, and have the tools you need to care for yourself - body, mind, and nervous system - throughout your healing journey.

Bre is one of the best PTs I've worked with!

She truly has a unique approach to therapy which starts with putting her patient in the driver seat of the recovery process - she starts every session by asking, "what do you want to get out of today's session?"

Bre is an incredible listener, a skilled PT, and has so much knowledge about body systems, somatics, and holistic wellness.

I've recovered faster, with more confidence, and actual lasting results under her care.

Plus, she works out of a private clinic and you get her full attention for a full hour - unheard of care in a system characterized by rushed (often impersonal) 15 minute appointments!

    1000% recommend.

As a physical therapist myself, I’m pretty particular about who I trust with my own care—and Bre is exceptional. Her manual therapy skills are incredibly precise and effective, and she has a holistic approach that goes beyond just treating the symptoms. She took the time to really understand my body, listened deeply, and provided exercises that were thoughtful, personalized, and actually helpful.

What stands out most is her ability to integrate clinical skill with genuine connection. She made me feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the process. If you're looking for high-quality physical therapy in Bend, Bre is truly one of the best.

If you are looking for a highly skilled, friendly, compassionate therapist in a low key, comfortable environment, Bre Crawford at Orchard Physical Therapy is just who you want!

When you work with Bre, you get her, the PT, from the time you enter the clinic until you leave. No assistants watching you ride a stationary bike, no other patients and/or therapists using the same space.

Bre is extremely knowledgeable and a great listener too. She is creative and thorough. She has helped me a lot and, being a therapist myself, I am very choosy about who I will work with!!

Breanna is an amazing person and PT. She acknowledges and understands the spectrum of an individual’s physical therapy process. From the initial intake to revamping treatment plan along the way, I felt heard and cared for.

I appreciate her patience on my not-so-great emotional days and her positive perspective take is helping me reinvent my vocabulary leading to a healthier mindset of healing.

Orchard Physical Therapy set a high bar in regards to professionalism, compassion, knowledge of body/mind connection and educating clients.

    Very empowering.

I have been to many different PT places around Bend, some big and some small.

Most of my experiences left be wondering why I bothered to go.

After getting an achilles tendon surgically repaired, I told my surgeon I thought rehab was mostly a waste of time. He recommended I see Bre Crawford. She guided me through the rehab with deft precision, combining resistance training, physical massage, cupping and Gua Sha scraping massage.

Every session was totally useful! The rapid progress was clear and undeniable.

Bre also showed me how to progress my overall physical fitness by lifting weights and foam rolling. This helped recover from the achilles tendon injury fast.

I continue to follow her guidance and techniques, and my lower back problems which had been chronic for years have essentially gone away completely.

Bre is very professional, has a pleasant demeanor and knows what she is doing.

Most importantly she has an unusually keen sense of what was needed, and what is a waste of time. I can not recommend her more highly!

FAQs

Physical Therapy

  • My work is rooted in orthopedic physical therapy, but my approach is shaped by the understanding that pain and healing are not just physical, they’re also shaped by our nervous system, emotions, stress, and lived experience.

I draw on training in coaching, nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and pain science to offer support that treats the whole person.

I believe the highest care is delivered in a one-on-one setting, so you’ll see me for each treatment and will never be passed off to an aide or tech throughout the course of your care.

All treatments take place in a private treatment studio.

  • No, you don’t!* Oregon is a “Direct Access” state meaning you do not need to see a physician prior to being seen in physical therapy.

If I believe you need to be seen by a physician, I will refer you to one.

*Note: Some insurance companies/plans require a physician referral or prescription for coverage of physical therapy services. It is always in your best interest to contact your insurance to determine your specific physical therapy coverage.

  • Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in and will allow for easy access to the area of treatment.

  • Physical therapy is a cost-effective treatment option for overcoming pain and improving function. Many insurance plans cover the majority of your physical therapy treatment, though you may be responsible to pay a percentage (copay or co-insurance) or deductible.

I’m currently contracted as an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:

    BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon

    PacificSource

It is always in your best interest to contact your insurance company to understand your specific physical therapy benefits.

  • You may contact me and I will happily do my best to help you determine your insurance coverage.

You may also reach out to your insurance company through member/customer service to better understand your individual benefits.

  • Most likely, yes.

If I’m not contracted with your insurance company, I offer Self-Pay pricing.

Upon request, I will provide you with a detailed receipt called a “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for “out-of-network” reimbursement. The best way to understand your out-of-network benefits is to call your insurance company and use this SCRIPT to assist you with collecting benefits information.

See above details regarding self-pay rates.

  • I am not a participating provider with Medicare, therefore I cannot provide you with physical therapy treatment.

That being said, I would be more than happy to direct you to a physical therapy provider accepting Medicare in your area.

If you are seeking coaching or would like to work with me to improve your mobility or strength I would be happy to see you on a self-pay basis.

Please contact me to discuss what you are looking for and how I might be able to help.
