Orthopedic Physical Therapy
You are more than your injury.
You are a whole person and your story, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals all matter to me.
Injuries and flare-ups are an inevitable and unfortunate part of being human, but they don’t have to stop you from doing what you love.
Whether it’s running, biking, gardening, playing with your kiddos, or simply moving in a way that brings you joy, we’ll find ways to keep you active while you heal.
You won’t hear me say, “just stop doing that.” Instead, we’ll explore how to move in a way that supports your body’s recovery.
My approach to orthopedic physical therapy is holistic, integrating mind-body awareness, movement re-education, pain science, and nervous system- and trauma-informed care to meet you and your body where you are.
At its heart, my work is about creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to listen to your body, to trust in your body’s resilience and capacity to heal, and have the tools you need to care for yourself - body, mind, and nervous system - throughout your healing journey.

My work is rooted in orthopedic physical therapy, but my approach is shaped by the understanding that pain and healing are not just physical, they’re also shaped by our nervous system, emotions, stress, and lived experience.
I draw on training in coaching, nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and pain science to offer support that treats the whole person.
I believe the highest care is delivered in a one-on-one setting, so you’ll see me for each treatment and will never be passed off to an aide or tech throughout the course of your care.
All treatments take place in a private treatment studio.

No, you don’t!* Oregon is a “Direct Access” state meaning you do not need to see a physician prior to being seen in physical therapy.
If I believe you need to be seen by a physician, I will refer you to one.
*Note: Some insurance companies/plans require a physician referral or prescription for coverage of physical therapy services. It is always in your best interest to contact your insurance to determine your specific physical therapy coverage.

Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in and will allow for easy access to the area of treatment.

Physical therapy is a cost-effective treatment option for overcoming pain and improving function. Many insurance plans cover the majority of your physical therapy treatment, though you may be responsible to pay a percentage (copay or co-insurance) or deductible.
I’m currently contracted as an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:
BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon
PacificSource
It is always in your best interest to contact your insurance company to understand your specific physical therapy benefits.

You may contact me and I will happily do my best to help you determine your insurance coverage.
You may also reach out to your insurance company through member/customer service to better understand your individual benefits.
-
Most likely, yes.
If I’m not contracted with your insurance company, I offer Self-Pay pricing.
Upon request, I will provide you with a detailed receipt called a “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for “out-of-network” reimbursement. The best way to understand your out-of-network benefits is to call your insurance company and use this SCRIPT to assist you with collecting benefits information.
See above details regarding self-pay rates.

I am not a participating provider with Medicare, therefore I cannot provide you with physical therapy treatment.
That being said, I would be more than happy to direct you to a physical therapy provider accepting Medicare in your area.
If you are seeking coaching or would like to work with me to improve your mobility or strength I would be happy to see you on a self-pay basis.
Please contact me to discuss what you are looking for and how I might be able to help.

You may pay with cash, check, Venmo, FSA/HSA, or credit card.
